Clash for Windows
A graphical proxy client built on the Clash core. Rule-based routing, subscription management and TUN mode - set it up once and it keeps working.
Up and running in three steps
From installation to a working connection in a few minutes.
In the download section, choose the package for your architecture (x64 for most PCs). The installer is clean - no bundled software. After installation a cat icon appears in the system tray.

Back on the General page, switch on System Proxy. Browser traffic and most applications now go through Clash and are routed automatically by the rules in your profile.
Interface preview
An interactive mock of the real interface: switch pages, benchmark nodes, change the outbound mode. All data is simulated.
Traffic is matched against the rules in your profile: domestic traffic connects directly, the rest goes through the selected proxy. Recommended for daily use.
Rule mode: traffic matching proxy rules uses the node selected below. Click a card to switch nodes; use the button on the right to re-test latency.

Main features
Everything below is provided by the Clash core and the client itself - no extra plugins.
Rule-based routing
Route traffic by domain, IP, GeoIP or process name, so domestic and international traffic take separate paths.
Multiple protocols
Supports Shadowsocks, VMess, Trojan, Snell, SOCKS5 and HTTP - the node types offered by most providers.
TUN mode
A virtual network adapter captures all system traffic, covering CLI tools and games that ignore the system proxy.
Subscription management
Import subscription URLs with scheduled updates; Parsers and Mixin can patch profiles automatically on update.
LAN sharing
With Allow LAN enabled, phones and TVs on the same network can use this machine as their proxy.
Connections & logs
Inspect every connection in real time - matched rule, chosen node and transferred bytes - no guesswork.
External control API
A built-in RESTful API (port 9090 by default) for web dashboards and automation scripts.
Cross-platform
Builds for Windows (x64 / ia32 / ARM64), macOS (Intel / Apple Silicon) and Linux.

Frequently asked questions
Is Clash for Windows still maintained?
The original developer stopped development in November 2023; 0.20.39 is the last release. The application still works normally, including profiles and subscriptions. If you prefer an actively maintained client, Clash Verge Rev uses the same core and can reuse your existing configuration.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
Completely free, no account needed. Keep in mind that Clash for Windows is only a client: it does not provide any servers or network service. You need your own proxy servers or a subscription from a provider.
Which proxy protocols are supported?
The bundled Clash Premium core supports Shadowsocks, VMess, Trojan, Snell, SOCKS5 and HTTP(S), which covers the node types offered by nearly all providers.
What is the difference between System Proxy and TUN mode?
System Proxy only affects programs that honor the system proxy settings (browsers and most desktop apps). TUN mode creates a virtual network adapter and captures all traffic at the network layer, including CLI tools and games. Use System Proxy day to day and enable TUN only when needed.
Does it work on Windows 7 or 32-bit systems?
Yes. Clash for Windows supports Windows 7 and later, with dedicated 32-bit (ia32) and ARM64 installers available in the download section.
How does it compare to Clash Verge or v2rayN?
All three are proxy clients. Clash for Windows and Clash Verge share the Clash core and the same YAML configuration format; the former is more feature-complete but discontinued, the latter is still maintained. v2rayN is based on the Xray core with a different config format. If your provider offers Clash subscriptions, either Clash client works.
Is this the official website?
This is an unofficial resource site that collects download mirrors, guides and troubleshooting documentation for Clash for Windows. It is not affiliated with the original developer. The software is provided as-is; download from trusted sources and verify the files yourself.
